Nishioka, MNL Digger end PFL 24-25 in 2nd place
Filipino-Japanese midfielder Kenji Nishioka led the way in Manila Digger FC's 5-0 win over Loyola FC. The win proved to be spoiled as Kaya FC-Iloilo's victory over Stallion Laguna FC in the latter game meant that Digger would finish the season in second place.
Nishioka, a starting winger, logged in a goal and 90 minutes in the holding midfield position as Noy Felongco was rested due to injury. Su Diao bagged a late brace as Modou Manneh also scored a goal of his own and forced an own goal from the Loyola defense.
