Jarvis, MNL Digger fend off Stallion in heated match
Here’s what defender Jordan Jarvis had to say after earning Man of the Match Honors in Manila Digger’s 3-0 win versus Stallion Laguna FC at the Biñan Football Stadium.
Digger managed to race to a 3-0 lead in the first half behind a brace from Modou Manneh and a goal from Ousman Gai. Although, their fortunes appeared took a turn after Manneh picked up two consecutive yellow cards following an altercation that saw benches clear.
10-man Digger put in a shift as they not only stayed solid on defense but continued to be a threat on the attacking end.
As of press time Manila Digger tops the table with a 13-0-3 W-D-L standing (39 pts) while Stallion sits in fifth with a 7-3-5 record (24 pts). The top four teams from the 10-team field will advance to the Finals Series.
